The following video’s title is “Debate over Puerto Rico law”. That law is called PROMESA. The video has the wrong discourse. We would have done nothing with eliminating the PROMESA law, because Puerto Rico will still continue to be a US colony. Puerto Rico has been that for the past 123 years. And, that is the root of this problem.
The USG has refused to comply with the United Nations’ (UN) Charter that prohibits colonialism for that past 76 years. That makes the USG a criminal, being that colonialism is a crime against humanity. The USG has ignored 40 UN resolutions asking the USG to immediately return Puerto Rico’s sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans. Had the USG complied, its PROMESA law never would have existed!
Instead of protesting to eliminate PROMESA, the 9 million Puerto Ricans worldwide should engage in permanent resistance to force the USG to comply with international law and decolonize Puerto Rico. https://todosunidosdescolonizarpr.blogspot.com/
