Our problem is that Puerto Rico has been governed exclusively for the interest of the United States (US) government (USG) since 1898. The USG invaded Puerto Rico specifically to make her its colony. The USG has been committing a crime against humanity by having done so.
The United Nations’ (UN) Charter prohibits colonialism since 1945. The USG has ignored thus far 40 UN resolutions asking it to immediately return Puerto Rico’s sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=otzBslJLbI0
Puerto Rico’s problem is not her 1960 built electrical grid. It is her over a century US colonialism!
