Isn’t it contradictory that the US then did the very same thing to Puerto Rico that England had done to her?
122 years after the US’ Declaration of Independence in 1776, the US government (USG) decided to militarily invade Puerto Rico to make her its colony.
Today, 123 years later, Puerto Rico is still a US colony! Therefore, the USG is committing a crime against humanity today for doing so. Do you know that the world regards the USG as the biggest threat to peace?
Do you know that the USG has never complied with the United Nations’ (UN) Charter that prohibits colonialism since 1945?
Do you know that the USG has never complied with 40 UN resolutions asking it to immediately return Puerto Rico’s sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=otzBslJLbI0
Do you know that the UN has embarked, this year, on its 4th International Decade for the Eradication of Colonialism?
If independence is good for the US, then it is good for Puerto Rico too!
The 9 million Puerto Ricans worldwide should immediately engage in permanent resistance to force the USG to stop being a hypocrite, and comply with international law!
