Is USA prohibited from engaging in biological warfare?

After World War I, the United States Government (USG) chose not endorse the Geneva Protocol that controlled the use of biological and chemical weapons.

An American biologist, Matthew Meselson, did not believe that his government should be researching for cheaper ways of possessing weapons of mass destruction. He decided in 1963 to lead the fight for an international ban on biological warfare. Meselson’s activism led to the Biological Weapons Convention Treaty (BWCT) of 1972 that has the endorsements of 182 nations.

China has accused the USG of giving her the Coronavirus. If that were to be proven, the USG would have been in violation of the BWCT that bans the use, stockpiling and research of biological weapons.

We need to keep a critical eye on all of the future developments of the Coronavirus, because “We the People” need to begin to make, like Meselson, fundamental, or perhaps revolutionary changes to “business as usual”.

Dr. King said that, “Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere.” We have a lot of work to do, because those who want war, don’t believe in LIBERTY AND IN JUSTICE FOR ALL! https://www.facebook.com/groups/1697349163904877/

Yes according to the Biological Weapons Convention Treaty.
