The people of Bonaire had the opportunity to hear delegates from colonies about the necessity to fight for our self-determination and independence at Bonaire’s town square on the evening of Saturday, December 7, 2019. Click on the following link to watch our video: https://youtu.be/CM326vHSy88

Nobody wants a revolution, because people could get hurt or killed. In the case of Puerto Rico, we had already obtained real self-government via the Spanish Autonomic Charter of 1897. The United States Government (USG), however, militarily invaded Puerto Rico to make her its colony. That was a unilateral revolution by the USG against the People of Puerto Rico! Now, it will take our own revolution with at least equal intensity to put us back to where we were.

We shouldn’t leave to our children the decolonization struggle of our homelands. Let’s all unite to eradicate colonialism once and for all. Everybody knows that it is the right thing to do. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. said that, “It is always the right time to do what is right.” He also said that, “Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere.”

We must all engage in permanent resistance to fight injustice. That is how James Finies got the Dutch government to hold a plebiscite to reveal that the Bonarians do not want to be embedded in the Dutch Constitution with no power to control their destiny.

We must continue our struggle until we free ourselves, because those who want to continue to exploit us forever, don’t believe in LIBERTY AND IN JUSTICE FOR ALL! https://www.facebook.com/groups/1697349163904877/

If it is not resistance the status quo continues.
