Comedian John Oliver reports on the United States (US) government’s intentional denial of 4 million of its own citizens to the same equal voting rights as the rest of its citizens. The question we should all ask, why?
And that is why we have a peaceful march on Monday, June 22, 2015 to protest Puerto Rico’s colonial political relationship with the government of the United States. The march is called, The 2nd Oscar – Mandela March in NYC – www.TodosUnidosDescolonizarPR.blogspot.com.
We will march from Hunter College on 68th Street and Lexington Avenue at 9 AM to the United Nations (UN). The UN will hold its annual hearing to discuss the decolonization of Puerto Rico on that very day.
Please come and join us as we believe we will need a tsunami of people to force the US government to decolonize Puerto Rico. We must continue to do this several times a year, because those who maintain colonies don’t believe in justice for all.
