It is important to highlight that the United States (US) government (USG) has never complied with the UN Charter for the past 75 years. The USG has also ignored 39 UN resolutions asking it to immediately return Puerto Rico’s sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans.
The UN holds an annual hearing in June to discuss Puerto Rico decolonization. The media does not advertise it or cover it. Puerto Rico decolonization is blacked out by the media in New York City where there is the second largest concentration of Puerto Ricans in the US. This is obviously, by design!
