Why doesn’t US comply with international law?

The United States government makes a lot of money violating international law. Its attitude is, who’s going to make us comply?

The United States government pushed to create the United Nations (UN) after the end of World War II. It was an excellent idea! An international forum where nations could resolves their differences through peaceful dialogue instead of war. Click here to read the UN Charter: http://www.un.org/en/charter-united-nations/

Contrast the UN Charter signed the United States government to what it does.

The US government has maintained Puerto Rico as its colony for 120 years. It says that it has a right to do so, because Spain ceded Puerto Rico to the US after the American Spanish War of 1898. That argument is contrary to the UN Charter.

The UN has issued 36 resolutions asking the US to immediately return Puerto Rico’s sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans. It has repeatedly refused to do so. That is contrary to the UN Charter. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=otzBslJLbI0

When Oscar López Rivera used whatever means necessary to decolonize his country, the US government found him guilty of seditious conspiracy to overthrow the US government in Puerto Rico by force. Are you aware that under international law, Oscar has a right to do that? It is the US government that is violating the UN Charter by throwing a freedom fighter in jail to continue to maintain Puerto Rico as its colony.

The UN will once again hold its annual hearing in June 2018 on Puerto Rico decolonization. The UN will again issue its 37th resolution asking the US government to immediately return Puerto Rico’s sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans. Again, the problem for Puerto Ricans will be, who’s going to make the US comply? We the people. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=otzBslJLbI0

Join our permanent resistance to force the US government to comply with natural and international law, because those who violate laws signed by them in order to make profit, don’t believe in LIBERTY AND IN JUSTICE FOR ALL! https://www.facebook.com/groups/1697349163904877/
