US government violates UN Charter

Most people don’t know that the United States (US) government violates the United Nations’ Charter. Click on the following link to see the charter: http://www.un.org/en/sections/un-charter/chapter-i/index.html

You will note the reference in the charter about the respect for human rights, a people’s right to self-determination and independence, and the United Nations’ commitment to eliminate all threats to world peace.

Most people also don’t know that the US government has maintained Puerto Rico as its colony for the past 120 years. The UN has asked the US government in 36 resolutions to immediately give Puerto Rico’s sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans. The US government has repeatedly violated the UN’s Charter by refusing to do so. And to show you with what arrogance, it has claimed that this matter is a US domestic affair!

The following link contains the former UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon’s address to the UN’s Decolonization Committee at the beginning its year’s work program for 2013: https://www.un.org/sg/en/content/sg/statement/2013-02-21/secretary-generals-remarks-opening-2013-session-special-committee

His main idea was that the committee needed to be more creative in trying to eradicate colonialism before the end of its 3rd self-imposed decade.

We decided to suggest to the committee in 2015 that it should broadcast on radio and television the annual UN Puerto Rico decolonization hearings usually on the Monday after Fathers’ Day. The committee ignored us.

We decided to broadcast it ourselves in 2016. Click on the following link to watch it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=otzBslJLbI0

The UN blocked our broadcast this year, although somebody else broadcasted it.

The only way to decolonize Puerto Rico will be to inform people about its real history. Then, people who are outraged about it could protest permanently to get it done.

We have no doubt that we will need a category 5 hurricane of people to get this done, because those who violate the UN Charter don’t believe in LIBERTY AND IN JUSTICE FOR ALL! https://www.facebook.com/groups/1697349163904877/
