US decides what is news

The United States Government (USG) accuses other nations that it doesn’t like of not having a free press. But, do United States (US) citizens really believe that they have a free press? I recently conducted my own experiment to find out.

I was recently in New York City (NYC) to speak at the United Nations’ (UN) annual hearing on Puerto Rico decolonization on Monday, June 24, 2019. I decided to buy on the day before the hearing, Sunday, June 23, 2019, the New York Daily News, the New York Post and the New York Times to see if they had anything on the hearing.

Would you believe that, in a city that has a population of 723,621 Puerto Ricans, none of these 3 major NYC newspapers had a word about it? We are talking about the USG committing a crime against humanity for the past 120 years by keeping Puerto Rico as its colony! Is this done on purpose, or is it just a coincidence?

On Sunday June 9, 2019, 15 days before the hearing, NYC celebrated its annual National Puerto Rican Day Parade. Conversely, that always receives so much media coverage that every Puerto Rican all over the world knows about it!

Do you know that the UN itself is supposed to be making the world aware about its efforts to eradicate colonialism? Even the UN does not regularly broadcast live their own yearly Puerto Rico decolonization hearing to fulfill that obligation. Obviously, that is done on purpose! It took us 5 years to force the UN to broadcast live this year’s hearing on UNWEBTV.

Join the struggle to force the USG to comply with the UN’s Charter that prohibits colonialism since 1945, and with the 38 UN resolutions asking it to immediately return Puerto Rico’s sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=otzBslJLbI0

Let all people of good will unite to do that. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. said that it is always the right time to do what is right.

Join the fight, because those who hide their crimes against humanity to continue to exploit people with impunity don’t believe in LIBERTY AND IN JUSTICE FOR ALL! https://www.facebook.com/groups/1697349163904877/

News is news no matter what.
