It’s Fufi Time!

By José M. López Sierra – Puerto Rico

The United States Government (USG) has done a masterful job in keeping Puerto Ricans ignorant of our own history. This is how it has been able to keep Puerto Rico as its colony for the past 120 years, despite the fact that it violates the United Nations’ Charter (UN) that prohibits colonialism, and simply ignores with impunity 37 UN resolutions asking it to immediately return Puerto Rico’s sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans. Click on the following link to read a summary of what over 40 petitioners said at last year’s 2018 annual Puerto Rico decolonization hearing: https://www.un.org/press/en/2018/gacol3324.doc.htm

The UN has decided to broadcast live at 10 AM this year’s, Monday, June 24, 2019, Puerto Rico decolonization hearing on its http://webtv.un.org/. This is exactly the kind of information that we need to help us see why the USG has no interest in decolonizing Boriken. Puerto Rico has been a gold mine for the USG since 1898! Why else has it been refusing to decolonize Puerto Rico?

I suggest that the next more aggressive step for the UN to take is to recognize the symbolic Fufi passport. That would be a bold UN recognition of Puerto Ricans’ legitimate right to their natural nationality.

All of the almost 200 UN member nations should accept all Puerto Ricans who wish to use Fufi’s symbolic passport, not only as a gesture of solidarity, but as a powerful tool to persuade the USG to abandon its historic policy towards Puerto Rico of colonialism now, colonialism tomorrow and colonialism forever. https://todosunidosdescolonizarpr.blogspot.com/2019/05/us-refuses-to-recognize-puerto-ricans.html

Here is an itinerary of the various events in June 2019 in favor of Puerto Rico decolonization. We ask that you consider becoming actively involved in the movement, because those who favor wealth over world peace don’t believe in LIBERTY AND IN JUSTICE FOR ALL! https://www.facebook.com/groups/1697349163904877/

You can’t liberate ignorant people.
